I was reading a book recently and it really got me thinking. The book talked about successful people who did things to get ahead. The author talked about the sacrifices they made and how it all worked out in the end. Some of the sacrifices included not being able to raise their children, being away from their loved ones for long periods of time, sleeping in an uncomfortable bed, having no privacy, living in a small apartment, etc.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think these people got to the top because they were willing to do things that were bad for them. The sacrifices they made didn't make them happy...if you ask me, it would have been better if they had never worked hard at all and just stayed at home with their children.
